History

Easthall Park Housing Association is a community-based housing association situated in the Easterhouse area in the north-east of Glasgow. We are a not-for-profit organisation and a registered charity with the Office of Scottish Charities Regulator and a registered social landlord with the Scottish Housing Regulator.

The Association is managed by a Management Committee made up mainly of our tenants and co-optees with skills to enhance the Committee’s capability to lead and direct the business. The tenants on the Committee are elected by our shareholders at the Annual General Meeting in September of each year.

Our housing services are managed and co-ordinated from the Glenburn Centre in Easthall, which is a multi-purpose community facility.

The Association was formed in 1992 and evolved through significant area regeneration with new build housing developments and a housing stock transfer from Glasgow Housing Association. Our housing stock presently consists of 694 rented properties, and we provide a factoring service to 55 owner-occupiers.

We have always defined ourselves as being ‘More than a landlord’, providing high quality housing accommodation and services to our tenants and in partnership with Easthall Residents Association, where we have delivered a wide range of community services to improve our people’s lives and opportunities in the Glenburn Centre through the community café, IT suite, games hall and an array of activities and events for the local community.

The Association is proud of its success in it work and community regeneration, where it secured many accreditations such as Scotland's Best Employer Award under the not-for-profit category; Small Social Landlord of the Year and Housing Excellence Award and UK Small Landlord of the Year  - Chartered Institute of Housing and Inside Housing.
