Energy Performance
All vacant properties we let must be provided with an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC).
The certificate must be attached to the property, usually beside the electric meter or in a cupboard.
The certificate details the energy and the carbon performance of the property, with A being the most efficient to G being the most inefficient.
An Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) is valid for 10 years.
The Government have also introduced a new target to be achieved by 2032 which expects all Registered Social Landlords to achieve a B energy performance rating or be as close to this as possible. Over the coming years we will be looking at how or whether this can be achieved for all our properties. Watch this space for further details.
