The Association are currently carrying out a review of our Allocations policy, following our withdrawal from the Common Housing Register.
Please find a link below to our proposed policy.
We are currently carrying out a consultation process on this policy review.
Some of our proposed changes include:
- Changes to Group 1 for homeless applicants
- All applicants in Group 2 will be allocated 150 points for urgent needs
- Applicants in Group 4 who are living in properties below tolerable standards will be awarded the same points total as applicants in Group 2 with urgent needs.
- Increase in points for applicants in Group 5 who are underoccupying properties larger than their needs
- Increase in points for applicants in Group 6 who are members of the armed forces
- Care and support element removed from Group 7. This group will be for applicants whose needs are not covered by the policy
- The 5 year qualifying period has been removed from Group 8
